Virgen de los Reyes is the patron saint of
Seville and celebrations take place on the 15th of August every year in her name. The Plaza Virgen de los Reyes is situated next to the Giralda and shouldn’t be overlooked by visitors as it has a lot to offer. The central feature of the square is a 20th century fountain designed by Jose Lafita. From this square you can also see the Cathedral and the Giralda,
la Encarnacion convent and the Arch Bishop’s Palace or Palazio Arzobispal in Spanish. This delightful square, full of orange trees and flower sellers is a popular place to start a horse-drawn carriage tour of the city.
