Seville's April Fair ( La Feria de Abril) is an enormous event which takes place every year, starting on Monday at midnight, normally 2 weeks after Semana Santa (Holy Week) and culminating in a fireworks display at midnight on the following Sunday. The city is full to the brim every year with tourists and locals alike partying the night away. The daily procession known as 'Paseo de Caballos' sees local girls in traditional flamenco clothing in carriages being pulled through the city by magnificent Andalusian horses. At night, the bull fighting begins at the Maestranza bull ring. The fair takes place at the 'Real de la Feria ’ permanent fairgrounds not far from the city centre, facing Maria Luisa Park.
