Castilblanco de Arroyos is situated in the foothills of the Morena mountains in the natural region of Sierra Norte. The neighbouring villages which are worth a visit are: Almaden de la Plata to the north, Alcala del Rio, Burguillos and Villaverde del Rio to the south, El Pedroso to the north-west, Cantillana to the south-east and lastly, Guillena to the south-west. Every year during the last week of January and the first of February, Castilblanco de Arroyos organises a provincial handicrafts contest where craftsmen and women from all over Andalusia meet and display their high quality works made from materials such as wood, wicker, leather, jewels, embroidery, ceramics, wrought iron etc During this festival, visitors will also have the opportunity to try some of the best local produce.
